About CSD

CSD currently offers several physical performance tests including one advanced test (TMG) for athletes of any sport and athletic level from beginner to professional, including masters athletes.

  • Athletes of all sports need precise performance diagnostics.

  • Recommended testing packages or custom tests per sport are available.

TYPES OF TESTS OFFERED

Tensiomyography(TMG)

  • full test (up to 11 muscle pairs)

  • partial test (up to 5 muscle pairs)

A cutting edge technology that detects selected muscle behavior upon inducing a low powered current. Muscle parameters assessed are:

  • Delay time: Time muscle needs to make its first movement after stimulation

  • Contraction time: Time muscle needs to reach its peak force

  • Displacement: Magnitude of muscle contraction or muscle tone

  • Sustain time: How long muscle maintains the contraction

  • Relaxation time: How long it takes muscle to go back to its original state

Upon test completion, based on interest and client’s needs, different types of reports could be generated immediately and can be delivered as:

  • Single muscle report

  • Simplified & color coded report: (typically given to athletes)

  • Full report: comprehensive report designed for analysis by sport professionals

  • Group report: assesses team as a whole based on average values of all the players tested

  • Trend report: If a team or individual player is tested more than once, a report that delivers results as charts that show values from all the times when the test was performed.

    • After the reports are generated and analyzed, suggested exercises and videos on how to perform exercises are provided.

Isometric strength tests

(Using goniometer joint positioning for precision)

Abilities tested:

  • Maximal strength

  • Rate of force development (RFD)

    • Various movements, muscle groups in desired angles can be tested such as deadlift, squat, arm curl, triceps press, leg curls, foot plantar flexion and many other custom tests based on needs.

Concentric/eccentric strength in the weight room and weightlifting quality parameters

Abilities tested:

  • weightlifting speed

  • range of motion

  • power

  • trajectory of movement

  • vertical jump quality determinants test.

Running acceleration and maximal running speed test video analysis

Abilities tested:

  • timing

  • calculation of ground contact times (GCT)

  • air times and body angles

    • various maximal running speed, agility and acceleration, sport-specific tests are available

Functional movement screen (FMS)

Simple and essential assessment for movement mobility and stability.

(Ground contact times (GCT) and a biomechanics analysis for all runs)

Why test your athletes?

  • Gain detailed knowledge of their strengths and weaknesses

  • Know detailed muscle condition after injury

  • Maximize training efficacy

  • Repeated tests allow for creating an athlete or team profile for precise progress tracking
