More about Tensiomyography (TMG)

Tensiomyography (TMG)

  • full test (up to 11 muscle pairs)

  • partial test (up to 5 muscle pairs)

  • A cutting edge technology that detects selected muscle behavior upon inducing a low powered current. Muscle parameters assessed are:

    • Delay time: Time muscle needs to make its first movement after stimulation

    • Contraction time: Time muscle needs to reach its peak force

    • Displacement: Magnitude of muscle contraction or muscle tone

    • Sustain time: How long muscle maintains the contraction

    • Relaxation time: How long it takes muscle to go back to its original state

Upon test completion, based on interest and client’s needs, different types of reports could be generated immediately and can be delivered as:

  • Single muscle report

  • Simplified & color coded report: (typically given to athletes)

  • Full report: comprehensive report designed for analysis by sport professionals

  • Group report: assesses team as a whole based on average values of all the players tested

  • Trend report: If a team or individual player is tested more than once, a report that delivers results as charts that show values from all the times when the test was performed.

After the reports are generated and analyzed, suggested exercises and videos on how to perform exercises are provided.
